Offerings include handcrafted small batch soaps blended with clays and essential oils, sewn items such as bags, pouches, rag dolls, and linen stuffed animals, re-usable kitchen items like fabric 'paper' towels, bowl covers, and snack bags.
The handcrafted soaps I make are made with natural oils and plant dyes, clay, and pure essential oils. Some soaps are made with plant based oils and milks, while others use lard, tallow, and goat milk.
When not making things, I enjoy gardening, foraging, taking care of goats, and walking in the woods with my spouse and dogs.

Marcia Pierce is a 21 year military veteran. Since 2004, after volunteering, for about 7 years and fostering over 450 cats & kittens, I needed a break but still wanted to contribute. I started making garden flowers from common household thrift store items. after much trial and error I found a perfect combination of construction, beauty, quality and value. After 4 years of selling and crafting I have made and sold almost 4000 pieces! I donate 20% of my profits to local county animal rescues.
During winter months I make dolls and donate them to the Crossnore Communities for Children.

Southern Paws Designs came about when I first got laid off from work with me making wood door hangers and wooden decor signs to porch leaners that led to people asking for shirts. I like a challenge and anytime someone would ask if I made something I told them I hadn't yet but I'd give it a shot. That of course led me into sublimation items, mainly tumblers but a slew of other things. I recently started making some laser tumblers so be on the lookout for those!
